Deirdre O’Shaughnessy

Deirdre is a Partner at Amrop in Ireland.  She conducts Executive Search assignments for key leadership appointments across a broad spectrum of industries and functions.  She is also responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of the interim management service offering. 

Deirdre focuses on senior management appointments from Head of Function to Board level across a broad spectrum of industries and functions.

She also has primary responsibility for the interim management service line in Ireland, providing clients with rapid access to independent executive talent, on an as needed basis, to lead transformation and change and plug senior executive gaps. She has an excellent knowledge of the interim management market in Ireland, having consulted for many years with leading organisations across a diverse range of industry sectors on a variety of senior level interim management requirements.

Prior to joining Amrop's Dublin team, Deirdre worked for an international consulting firm for two years and previously led a specialist interim management company for over seven years. In her earlier career Deirdre held a variety of senior level business development and project management roles in the ICT and BPO sectors in both Ireland and the UK.

Deirdre is a graduate of Business Studies and Marketing from Dublin City University.
